I got a Leibster Award!

On February 7th I recieved a comment from Chrystal of Chrystal-ized Nails saying she nominated me for a Leibster award. The Leibster award is for bloggers who have fewer than 200 followers as a way to bring viewers to their blog, share the love and show appreciation. I am greatful to Crystal for nominating me, my blog is new and although I have plenty of page views I have no followers yet. I hope to continue sharing my opinions and creativity with everyone when it comes to beauty.

Facts about myself

1. I love to buy cosmetics and jewelry even though I barely use them
2. I am always looking for new cheap beauty sample subscriptions again even though I barely use the stuff lol
3. I love painting and drawing
4. I have a new obsession with painting my nails, my new art form
5. I used to only do solid colored or french type designs, now I am trying art
6. I am in college studying Business Information Technology
7. I am a Mary Kay consultant, another funny fact since I barely use it but enjoy it when I do
8. I am 29 years old and am just now learning to drive
9. I LOVE dessert and sweets
10. I have 40+(I think) nail polishes, mostly Julep
11. I love nature but hate camping

Some goofy facts, my sister hollers at me anytime I buy more makeup or bath and body products. I tell her even if I only use it once its worth buying it. I am the same way with jewelry, I have a bunch but rarely take the time to put it on.

Here are the questions asked by Chrystal

1.) What made you start a blog?
I had seen a few and felt I needed an excuse to keep buying beauty products and doing my nails, to share it with others, plus I have seen others get free stuff to try and if that ever happens for me I would love that extra perk.
2.) What do you like to do when you aren't polishing?
 I love to play online games, some on facebook and others not on facebook, my favorite ones are pioneer trail and tribal wars.
3.) What is your favorite nail polish? ( or color if you can't decide)
 Petra from Julep, I just got her in a surprise box and instantly fell in love.
4.) How do you get inspired when you do your nails?
Not sure some of it just comes naturally others are from bloggers. I saw a pretty dress on tv and sketched it so I could recreate it later.
5.) Do you do nail art or swatches?
Currently just art but I will be adding swatchs soon.
6.) How often do you do your nails?
Every few days now, before hardly every.
7.) What are a few of your favorite blogs to read? (nail related or not?)
Dipped in Laquer, Lydias Nails and Pointless Cafe are just a few of the dozen or so I subscribe to.
8.) How many polishes do you own?
40+ haven't actually counted yet, but I plan on doing a post about my collection soon and then I'll know
9.) Are you looking forward to any upcoming collections?
OPI's Maria Carey collection I am obsessed with that one, I look every time I go to the store to see if they have it yet, I should look up the release date. I also want to try Zoya's pixie dust ones.
10.) Where do you keep your polishes?
Anywhere, I have most of them in a box until I use them then they go where ever.
11.) What is your favorite nail design/technique?
Watercolor but I haven't tried it yet, I will be soon though.
